It is recommended they be printed on 11x19 hard stock paper, laminated if possible. Some printers are a bit pricey or have to wait a couple days for your print request, get to a staples, office depot, etc and print on standard, get sleave protectors and slip the posters in the sleeve protectors upside down so they don't get ruined by any rain/snow/etc.

There are many different terms you can use.

Try to use a side profile, standing picture of your lost pet. I know this might be difficult, even though we think all of our pets are perfect models, but it's important poeple can see true coloring on your pets entire body, tail length, if certain feet/toes are different colors. Also, if your pet is wearing a specific colar or harness when lost, try to use a photo of your pet with that color/harness on.
